2007-04-03: Our bid on 80 Wurtemburg has been accepted. 2007-04-08: We tentatively close June 15th. 2007-04-08: We've conditionally sold 192 Cambridge N a day before listing it. 2007-04-12: All conditions have been waived for Cambridge and we bumped up the close date to 2007-05-11. 2007-05-11: We closed and picked up keys. 2007-05-19/20: We moved. 2008-02: I realize the two houses have the same floor plan, turned 90 degrees. 2020-11-04: Simon in #78 informs me there are 4 houses in Lindenlea all in the same block with the same floor plan: 115 Rideau Terrace, 107 Rideau Terrace, 175 Springfield Ave, 24 Rockcliffe Way The live view from the balcony is the image on the right.

• In contrast to our old house, this one has changed hands many times since it was built in 1920. In a 1923 directory, I found a Roy, Cain* J A listed living here. In June 2003, there was still an unclaimed balance of $14,043.41 by a Deborah Jensen since 1992. Our neighbours Sidney and Katharine at 10 Rockwood have frequently spoken warmly of the Preston family who lived here sometime around the late 1970s to mid-1980s.
• We recently commissioned a social and legal history of our house (along with that of the neighbouring house at 78 Wurtemburg because it is the same floor plan and suspected it was related) and the resulting research has been published. It has been offered to The Echo, the Lowertown community newspaper, and I've just heard the Ottawa Citizen is interested to reprint it. archive
• The author of our house history, Marc Lowell, recently learned of an archive from CMHC of photos of Lowertown (highres) along with indexes. There are several photos with our house: 1968-99-01, 1968-249-07, 1968-255 (tif), 1968-267 (tif). Here is an Ottawa Citizen article about the collection.
