Greenspeed Trailer Trike (Lamb)
In November 2007 I brought back with me from Australia a Greenspeed Trailer Trike, also known as a "Lamb". I thought this name came from similar terminology in diesel locomotives where the primary locomotive with a control cab is called a "cow" and additional cab-less locomotives that are controlled remotely from the cab of the "cow" are called a "calf". It turns out it is the family name of the family who first commissioned this design from Greenspeed.

Packing at Greenspeed factory and leaving Melbourne. The result looked like something out of Close Encounters. My Melbourne host, Jan, found this baby stroller by the neighbour's curb on garbage day. It fit perfectly. I took it with me all the way to Sydney and left it with the airport courtesy counter who had frequent requests for baby strollers.

The bottom bracket, new towbar rear rack for the towing vehicle finally arrive in the mail from Greenspeed. With it also arrived the new ergonomic rear/solo seat frame and the modified rear frame section with the stoker handlebar mounts, as well as the new single-sided son dynamo kingpins.

Finally got it on the road. It turns out it is still a bit long for Nico's legs. I figured on adding some padding, but was concerned that any added padding would be too rounded to properly support Nico. What worked really well was a double folded chaise longue quilted matress bungeed in place. To celebrate, we went for a really serene picnic at Rideau Falls.
