Please find attached a copy of this week's agenda for the Lowertown
Residents Committee.  You'll notice we're looking for a few key
positions to be filled, as Mary and Xavier prepare to move, and as
Christine has already moved.  A big thanks to them for the great work
and incredible commitment they've put forward over the past two years!
Also attached to this e-mail is a copy of the minutes from our last
Residents Action Group Meeting.  There is also a copy of  "Lowertown
East – Our Disappearing Heritage" for those of you who are interested in
learning more about the heritage of Lowertown.  And lastly, there is an
update from Nathaniel Mullin from the Councillor Fleury's Office
responding to some of the questions that came up during our last
meeting.

notre dernier réunion.  Vous remarquerez que nous recherchons pour
quelques postes clés à pourvoir, comme Marie et Xavier se préparer à
passer, et que Christine a déjà déménagé.   Un grand merci à eux pour
l'excellent travail et l'engagement incroyable qu'ils ont présentées au
cours des deux dernières années!


What streetscaping is being done on King Edward Avenue? (Barry): There
will be an expanded landscaping proposal coming forward for King Edward
avenue in the coming week. This expanded project would be implemented
before the end of the construction project on June 30th. The area will
also see the installation of a new Public Art Project within the coming
weeks.  What is going on with the proposed development at 101
Wurtemburg?  (Fiona): This development is currently at the stage of
public consultation, and all residents interested in placing comments
are asked to contact the City Planner in charge of this application,
Erin O’Connell (Erin.O’Connell@ottawa.ca 613-580-2424 ext.27967). The
City’s Planning department has not made their final recommendation on
the project and they will not do so until the end of the consultation
process. Anyone with questions to the Councillors office on this
project, are asked to contact Mathieu Genest
(Mat.Genest@ottawa.ca 613-580-2482), who is in charge of this file in
the office.
